the ricey S2000 is owned by an 18 year old
It turns out the guy is my sister-in laws relative somehow.
She called me and said he wants to come over sometime to talk about S2000's. He just bought a yellow one and it has all these guages all over the dash.....ahahahhahaha....
I don't want that thing near my house!!!!! If he does come over I will take some pics....
But he is only 18 and his grandparents co-signed! Brilliant!
I hope he drives semi sanley in his UFO

You do know that some folks take offense to the term "Rice" - it was originally a racist term.
"Rice", as it has evolved today, is a matter of opinion. There are some folks who think owning a 4 cylinder sports car built by a Japanese company puts you in that category.
I'm not trying to put anyone down, but the fact that there are now 2 active threads about this car and nobody would understand this thread if he hadn't read the other made me want to comment. Or maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning

Yeah... or MAYBE you'll meet the guy, realize he's not all bad and that you both can learn something from each other. MAYBE you'll come to know him and realize that although your tastes differ, just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean his opinion is worth any less than yours. MAYBE he'll look up to you as an elder and you'll influence his taste in the future, and MAYBE you'll feel bad for throwing a potentially good guy to the lions on a message board.
MAYBE.
PS-I ain't a ricer defending a ricer... just trying to promote enthusiasm for a wonderful car, whatever form it takes.
