Side note, has anyone laid eyes on, or seen a good pic of, the CR shift knob? The Honda parts site has it for ~$63.
Yes it looks just like Rick's. $63 for an aluminum shifter with the gates etched in it - Ricks aluminum would be $70 I believe.

Is the CR knob countersunk nearly as much as one of Rick's Voodoo knobs? And are they all yellow?

I played with the CR knob (teehee) and to tell you the truth it didn't feel that good at all. It's not as countersunk as you think.

- Spherical aluminum shift knob rests 12.6 mm lower for a 6 percent reduction in shift stroke compared to the regular S2000 knob
- Shift load effort increased by 10 percent for even more direct feedback when engaging a gear

The Team Voodoo shift knob shortens the height from the stock shift knob by approximately 1 inch.

12.6 mm = .5" vs 1" for the Voodoo

Well I went ahead and ordered an aluminum one for now. I've still got my heart set on Ti though. I'm going to take mine over to the metal shop here at work and see if I can't get it drilled out and lead plugged when I get it.

Rick, if you ever do a GB on a Ti voodoo knob, I'M IN!
