Default Is rick really just being slow?

I know rick is great. He has these great parts with great prices, but whats up with his customer service lately. I mean, i bought a shift knob from him, its been 2 and a half weeks! I emailed and no reply. Isn't this jsut getting strange? I've seen a few other people complaining about parts, but for goodness sakes. A shift knob. How hard is that to throw in his mailbox in the morning. Anyways, if "rick" sees this please pm me, i couldn't find a pm to put this in and might get a lil more attention.

It clearly says when ordering that many parts are special order and custom made. It also says expect 4 to 6 weeks for the product. You best bet is to contact Stratocaster on this website. He is a partner with Rick and James His name is Jeff and he is is a good sorce for fast responses. I am actually surprised Jeff has not chimed in on this thread yet!

they should have a stock of knobs..how cost effective is it to make a knob each time someone orders.

I love Rick's accessories. Each time I've ordered an item it's taken a LOOOONG time to get it. I had the same thing with some emails taking forever to be returned.

The thing is that this business is a side thing for these guys and they all have real jobs. They are really nice people despite how slow they are to respond. When you do get a response, I promise you they will be cordial and do their best to answer your questions and remedy the problem.

i have no problem waiting, but seriously, even if u had a job, its been 4 days since my email was sent. It doesn't take much effort to reply to his emails, he including himself has 3 ppl working it. emails are not hard. I am sure I will love the product, just a little stressed. Hopefully i'll see it b4 chirstmas cause its a present =P
