I learned from James that Voodoo Bob, who lives in San Diego, has been slowed by the serious fires out there, so his production has been delayed. That explains the latest delays. I'm shipping a batch of engraved knobs this afternoon and will email all those whose engraved orders are shipping.

babyburner, give the man a chance to breathe. Rick's life doesn't center around getting your Voodoo knob delivered today! He has a LIFE outside the S2K and this virtual community too, just like you. You're questioning Rick and his business ethics? HA!

Your previous quote, "wow, I didn't know this thread would bring up so much excitment" should tell you something...

I had sent Rick an email with a question about the Major Havoc's Windblockers and I immediately got a response within several minutes from James in which he answered my question. I placed an order several minutes later on the same day (November 4) and I received my order last night on the 11th. After reading the posts about how Rick's website is a side job and some of the comments about how slow service is or was, I just wanted to put my two cents in and say that service was great, email response was fast, and I recieved my order with installation instructions in very short time period considering I live on opposite side of the US.

Not to lecture anybody but if you want a prompt response you should order from walmart. You ordered from Rick because you know that he only carries the best for our car, not to mention how much value he adds to our community. So lets not be pushy about a shift knob or floor mats.
As Rick said before, if he counted on this as his only mean of income he would have been collecting welfare. He does it because he cares for this community and wants to cater to our modding needs. So lets give him thumbs up and be patient.

Hey Rick, can you put me on top of the list fot the shift knob?

Took a couple days to get a response from Rick, but his products are definantly worth the wait. You have to understand that he has a regular life and job that comes first. He does the best he can and he is very helpful. This is my second order with Rick, and it will definantly not be the last.

I ordered caliphers and he contacted me last night about their status. Really nice guy!!

Keep up the good work Rick,
JP

Jeff Shahan, James Mullins, and I are all away on this week on business trips for our real jobs, so it's even tougher for us to respond this week. This is the first high-speed Internet connection I've been able to get all week.
