How do get your shift boot to stay up like that ? I have been trying to figure out how to do that. Mabey a rubber ring or somethine like that.
I don't know...I've never had issues keeping it up.

Seriously, the shift boot has always stayed at that position. I would recommend something like an o-ring. Remove the know, slide on the o-ring...replace the knob.

If you take off the knob and try to fish the inside of the boot and pull it upward, you'll see that there's a zip-tie around the end. Tight it up some more before you push it back down and stop where you'd like it to be.

I, personally, don't like the boot come up too high. When I grab the knob, I always grab the boot in my palm as well as the knob, feel yucky and sometimes sweat can damage it in a long run. I took it out, cut the zip-tie and push the boot waaaaaaay down.

I've gone back to stock, titanium, one for a long while now. I like the heavy weight of the knob, makes shifting feel very smooth. I also like the egg shape more than sphere, more natural in grabbing( hold it by the side and not the top) and fills my hand much nicer, just wish that it as low as Rick's.

don't the Ti knobs get colder and stay colder in cold weather? Here in MD I'd hate that.
And really hot during the summer. Especially if you leave the top down while the car is parked in a sunny spot.

Do you buy the knobs like that or do you get them engraved somewhere?

if only they came in shapes other than a sphere (i.e. oem style)
Voodoo knobs come in Pistol Grip in addition to the sphere style. I'm a "side grabber" and I knew the Pistol Grip was the only way to go for me.

Here's a pic of my Voodoo Ti Pistol Grip. If I remember correctly, only ten or so were ever made.

I like it so much I sold the car and kept the knob.

Unfortunately, Voodoo Bob himself has said he won't make any more knobs using Ti stock due to the rising cost. In a perfect world everyone would know how spectacular the Ti knobs were and they'd be willing to pay the price to keep the Ti knobs on the market.

Oh well.

Can't get them engraved like that from Rick anymore. Honda sent him a nice letter from their lawyers saying that they were infringing on Honda's copyright, so no more Honda or S2000 on Rick's stuff. That's why mine is an original.
