No problems with it. Lighter than the stock header.
I did not dyno before/after so I can't prove any gains.
I'm happy with my purchase.

If you live in California and happen upon a tightassed emissions inspector you'll have a problem. (But then that's true with Mugen, J's, etc., headers too.)

Changing out the header can definitely change your car's sound, so I think it was a fair question.

I haven't heard anyone's S2K equipped with the Rick's piece, so I don't know what the sound difference is. But from everything I've read it gives you proven mid-range gains, but minimal top end gains. Definitely one of the best ,if not THE best bang for your buck as far as headers go on the S2K though (all of which don't add a whole lot of power overall).

I had the header but i got rid of it, i don't like the sound, its not the tone of the exhaust that changes but i beleive due to the thinner walls on the runners it sounds like an exhaust leak. All headers make this noise, it's like having sand grains in the exhaust pipe, i just installed megan racing and same crap,i hate it so i'm giving up and not putting headers. Ricks definitely give you power, i think like 4-6 whp they had a huge thread about it and they showed dyno slips, and you could feel the difference. Megan racing allow better reving, faster or quicker but i don't think quite the sameHP gains although from 6.5k and up the intake gets a lot louder so i'm assuming something's up there.

PS- Do a search on header leak and you'll find several people complaining about the noise and the response is due to thinner walls or construction material the exhaust pulses are heard or valves..

Sounds like a post a would have written myself. I had a Civic with a header before the S and that sound used to drive me crazy. Thank you for reminding me. I think that for similar gains and alot less money, I will just do a test pipe.
