rick's headers
how do you guys feel about rick's new headers? http://www.ricks2k.com/products/header.php
I own the Ricks 6 Plus header ... Its definitely the most economical header. Its not JDM bling, but if you don't care about that then this is the header to get.
The construction is top quality, fitment was perfect for me, and there are mount points for the OEM heat shield which I don't think any other header has.
As far as performance, I didn't notice a difference on my AP2 (butt dyno). There's a definite difference in weight though which couldn't hurt at all ... and according to the dynos you're gaining some in the midrange..

Weight savings, sound, and being able to use the heatshields are what I like about it. If you're not running a vented hood, I would definitely suggest this header. As for power, sadly my car was not running properly when I had it on- no header would have made a difference.
Personally, I loved the look of the header on the car with no shield on. Just be sure to wipe it down with rubbing alcohol after you install it so that it "burns" uniformly.

There's a bigger version of the dyno posted further below on the original Ricks 6 Plus header thread ... you just have to look for it.
