Has anyone had experience with the radio door gauge set up from Rick's? Also any opinion on this item?

they're extremely expensive.

couldn't you get the gauges individually and mount them somewhere else for a fraction of the cost?

yes, but rick's unit is very nicely made. looks stock.. hidden wires etc. Just up to you if you want to spend that much.
