Default Rick's Shift Boot

so today i got the Rick's Accessories shift boot my gf ordered for me.... BUT

as you guys can see in the picture... on one side, the stitching doesnt run all the way up top... is it supposed to be like that?!?!?! can someone else that's got rick's shift book chime in, i'd really appreciate your comment.

also the other thing is that rick sent me a boot with the wrong color stitches... i ordered black but got red stitching... do you guys think red stitching looks good?

TIA for the comments.

i'm pretty sure this thread will get added to the rice thread.... so please be gentle

EDIT: sorry mods, please move me to the modification and parts section, i didn't realize i was on s2k talk. thankyou.

Yeap thats how mine is also. I actually sent them an e-mail with the pics of the stitching and how it doesn't come up all the way. They said thats how it is and that the stock piece is the same.

After taking out the stock boot, I realised they were right, the stock boot does the same thing, you just don't notice it since its onthe front side.

It is not identical you do not have to do any of the cutting that it says to do, AND you do NOT have to remove the radio door. You both own ap1's why would you say this?
