Default Right after getting the car,,, is it good to drive far distence?

When I recieve the car in the future, I'll be getting the car in indiana. I live in cali right now so is it good to drive that far of a distence right after getting the car?(I have to make it around 4 days or so) Lets see, i should have less the 10 miles. Or Should i somehow get it towed over here? thanks

If it was me, I wouldn't let a long distance keep me from getting the car and driving it home.

I would, however, get a good map of the area and plan on driving back roads and making frequent stops (food, shopping) for the first 600 miles. You don't want to stay at the same RPM for very long during break-in.

I see no problem in the drive back. However, I would recommend that you do read the owners manual before doing so. Plus, after the car has sat for a while, make sure you check the oil level. I'd hate to hear how you burned up the engine because you hadn't done so.

Just make sure you have a quart of oil with you. when I drove from SD to vegas and back my car burned 1/2 qt but thats going 90+ both ways. And A gallon of coolant or water just incase.

a long distance shouldn't be a problem if you speaking of comfort, we drove 12+ hours to the OBX Run and another 12 back
