Despite all the aftermarket rim choices I really like the stock rims, especially when the light reflects intensely on the surface only and the interior goes into shadow. If one were to powdercoat the interior, it might look something like this...



Fugly or interesting method to lessen the perceived mass of the stock rims?

Note: Left image is Photochopped, right is unaltered. Image *borrowed* from Rick's without permission (apologies if that's a no-no). Hence the aftermarket brake system.

I especially love the left pic.

Can you photoshop the lef tpic to be just the opposite of how you collored it? [Meaning to say paint the face of it, and leave the side of the spokes and the backing silver]

BTW, I clicked on the title because of dirty thoughts.

doh! Isn't it difficult to powdercoat and have a seem. From my understanding, this is where the powdercoating will eventually start to chip from.
