Rio Yellow or GPW?
I'll try to be as unbiased about this as possible, seeing as I am the owner of a Rio.
Rio yellow was not my first choice when I knew the S2000 was the car for me. However, the deal I had found on mine was just too good to pass up, so I figured I could live with owning a yellow car.
Then I saw it, and things completely changed.
The Rio yellow, when it is clean, has a gorgeous metal flake in it that absolutely shines in the sun. It is a deeper, darker yellow than Spa, and I honestly think it is the best yellow I've seen on a car before.
GPW is a more rare color. White has never really done anything for me on a vehicle, but for the diehards that want white and nothing else, you'll likely have no difficulty in finding a buyer when it comes time to sell the car.
One of the biggest (and most unexpected) benefits I've noticed from having Rio yellow - it gets you noticed. Yes, in the sense that you can drive down the street and people will look at you and the car. It certainly isn't subtle. However, being noticed also helps on the road as well. I've had far fewer people pull out in front of my Rio S simply because it catches their eye. It is night and day difference when I'm driving my other vehicle, people just seem to see the yellow instead of blindly merging into a more mundane colored vehicle.
And since you requested pictures, I am more than happy to oblige (note, I am in no sense a photographer, so I know my pictures suck - just try to enjoy the car
)

This suggestion shouldn't be about colors, it should be about do I want an ap1 or ap2.

figure out the car you want first, then the color ...
