I noticed it more when it was new and fewer miles on it.
Now it's a little over a year old and 38K on the odometer.
Occasionally it will happen I just give a really quick "high beam" and they stop. I had some moron's pull up after riding me for awhile as well, they said f*kin a$$ H*** your high beams are on. I said nope their not, I high beamed and flashed back, they were pretty flustered and lost face. They were in some piece of crap, I got on the freeway and lost them.

Me, I'm going to look at others complaints and decide for myself whether or not they are justified. Just because they are a$$holes doesn't mean they don't have a point.

In the case of our HIDs, I had Col driving behind me recently and I think our lights are annoying. So this weekend I'll adjust mine. There is enough hatred and violence in this world without deliberately inviting more.

You might say. "But other S's lights will still annoy you, as will SUV's and bad drivers and...". At least I'll be content that I'm not adding to it.

My other car is an SUV and I get flashed many more times with it. My S2K must be adjusted well as I have only been flashed a couple of times in about 6K miles. I say let'm get used to it. If it wasn't our HIDs they would be p$$sed off at something else. I think they are jealous.

[QUOTE=Woodwork,Jun 13 2001, 12:34 PM]Hi Guys:
Something to keep in mind:

The HID headlights in the US on the S2000 are not self adjusting.

I only get "flashed " when I travel to "billy-bob" country never in the city.

I love getting flashed by other cars - cuz I just flash my hi beams back to make them realize that I didn't have my highs on - make em feel stupid

Or you could just do the courteous thing and adjust your HIDs.

Oh and I flash people with poorly adjusted lights as well. To try and let them know that they're a hazard... when they flash their high beams, it just restates that they are oblivious to others.
