I can finally say that I am now the proud owner of an 04 Rio Yellow Honda S2000.
I just got back into Atlanta from driving from Houston and I am in love with the car. Attracts alot of attention from the cops though. Actually my roomate who drove with me got a ticket on the way here for 70 in a 60 zone. Anyway the car is awesome!! My back is killing me after 13 hours of being in it,. Def not a GT car. I will try and post pics soon if i can.....and register as an owner soon....

one thing that i can say is that in some parts of the drive it was pouring like crazy. the car was felt planted and stable on the road doing between 60 and 70mph. i have never driven a car except for maybe an STi that has a brake pedal that feels like this one. one little touch of the brake and you better hope there arent any SUVs riding your ass. i love everything about it.

i think it's the yellow color that attracts the po-po. i have a sebring, and i've never really had probs with cops unlike my white bmw--and i drive my s2000 way faster.

Maybe subconsciously he regrets his color choice!

I agree with VTEC_Junkie. The yellow is HIGHLY visible even from a 1/2 mile or more.

i would agree. i think of it like this.. what kinds of other cars are bright yellow. mainly, that color is dominated by sports cars. picture yourself as a cop. you see cars coming from way down the road.. which ones stand out? -the brightest ones. and then, off in the distance, a blue car, or a dark grey car can look all like a black blip. yellow is yellow wether you're 10 feet away, or a half of a mile. everybody sees YOU coming. heh.

but good jeorb on the purchase. i'm guessing you had to go to Houston to pick up the car?
