Another advantage of going through someone like Jeremy. Does so much business with Robbins they are eager to fix issues, and know its legit when he finds something wrong.

I had mine installed in 2015 (thanks @TPhong !) and then have had the car in a garage most of the time, but the top still looks new.

Only thing I noticed is with long periods of rain, the moisture seems to work its way through the fabric and into the cabin as humidity.

Sadly I'm getting tears in mine near where the tears of the original top formed. The reinforcement patches (which are also coming unbonded) seem to be in the wrong place? My theory is the patches themselves may be the cause, they appeared to catch while the top goes down, forming a fold in the top that then rubs against the frame with the roof down? That's my guess. I've taken care to make sure those patches clear the hoop since I saw the wear, I'm hoping that gets me a little more life out of the top. I honestly forget how long the warranty is, I may have to try and make a claim, it's at most 4 years old.

Mine is 5 years old and I have the same issue with the patches coming undone, but I haven't noticed any tears yet. Never thought they would cause a problem and have let them be. I did ask my installer (Jeremy/2poor2mod) about how to re-glue the patches and he suggested contact cement, but I've never gotten around to it.

A quick update: My top straps (Robbins Stayfast) have deteriorated, giving me the same issue I was having with the straps on the OEM top. I was told to drill out the rivets holding the straps in, but have not yet done so. Since moving to FL, I have found a local installer and will take the car to them for evaluation. If the fix is as easy as Jeremy says it will be, I should be good. I have a set of Modifry straps ready to go in.

I'm about 4 years into my Robbins top also installed by Jeremy. No issues at all and it still looks. I do have some issues every now and again latching it in when the top isn't "exercised" frequently.

I have a set of Modifry straps that I'll be installed this winter along with a bunch of other parts.

I have a spare set of these too but surprisingly there are no "straps" in my Robbins roof. I assumed there were but didn't bother to check for the past six years until this morning when I saw your note. The straps in the OEM roof seem to have been replaced on the Robbins roof with a large inner roof panel -- unless the straps are hiding between the panel and the roof itself.

OEM has an interior fabric panel thing that attaches to the area above the rear bar and goes around the middle bar. Then the straps go from the middle bar to the front bar. Without some sort of elastic there the front bar would not move back the right amount when the top folds down (which is the issue when the straps fail). someone elses pic for reference
