For many years the guys at LHT Performance always recommended the Honda branded replacement tops without fail. Until earlier this year that is. While watching yet another one of LHT’s videos, I learned that the manufacturer that Honda uses for their tops had changed. Apparently the new Honda branded soft tops no longer fit perfectly like the originals and the guys at LHT stopped recommending them. Thus far I’ve not heard of any updates regarding the Honda tops. So while I had always planned on replacing my top with another Honda unit whenever the need finally arises, the Robbin’s top now appears to be the best way to go.

I hate to throw fuel on the fire here, but I am trying a Kee Auto Top on my 06 S2k.. In my research it's apparent Robbins has set the bar, and then I ran across Kee Auto Top in Charlotte, NC who was recommended by my installer.

They have the strongest warranty in the business (8 years) and my local installer stands behind them having used them for several years.

I'll post updates and pics (if allowed) after the install.

BTW, this isn't to bash Robbins as that was my original choice ...... but this is is an easy alternative for me as I live in the area and they seem to have a lot of good reviews. One note, they only sell to registered installers .... no retail sales.

Appears Kee has the same choice of materials that Robbins uses. Experience on the forum indicates the installer is the critical part of S2000 roof replacement with bungled installs often resulting in the trunk flooding every time it rains or the car is washed.
