I rock AAA but still squeezed the doughnut spare into the trunk. I have an amp taking up the space where the spare should go so I fit my doughnut inside the trunk on the left side.... sub box is in the tool well. I had the doughnut out for a week before I got a flat and had to have my wife bring me the spare. I have waited for hours for AAA too in this area so AAA for real issues and the doughnut for tire issues

Keep the spare...never know when you might need it and haven't had to remove it for space issues.

I keep an eye on my tire pressure all the time, but that doesn't guarantee anything. I must just have bad luck w/ cars, or perhaps living around an urban area, who knows. I've had my s2k for going on 3 years, and had to use the spare twice already. First time was a nail in the tire, and second time a valve stem that started leaking where it contacts the wheel and seals, and the tire went completely flat on the highway. I'm a firm believer in keeping a spare tire, as it's literally a life saver should you need it (and a extra few lbs is really not much).

You guys that roll w/o your spare must have some good luck or something.

I have my spare, and a sub. (Worth it to get a custom-fit box) Always worth having the spare in case you don't want to wait the hour+ for AAA to show up.

I don't carry the spare because it won't fit over my BBK

The amp is actually sitting in the spare tire, fit perfectly. In the event I need the tire, I can just lift the amp out once the cover is popped off.

Haha I put my old carpet over the toolbox just like that. Fits perfectly!

Only reason to not carry a spare (under normal driving conditions)
I have a spare wheel/tire at my house that clears my spoon calipers in the instance I need it.
I am the roadside assistance for the local s2000 owners lol.
