I carry mine I'd be back on the road in 10 minutes vs and hour + for tow. Only if I have a street race planned hehe

Mine have no spare, only a repair kit which won't get used. My insurance specifies a roll-back truck should I need it, otherwise just store some Fix-a-Flat in the trunk to get you to a tire repair store.

I've thought about removing the spare as well but a few months ago my tire blew out and I was soooo glad I kept it in the back. I was able to get to my destination without paying for a tow. If you have a sub in the back, can you easily remove it and put it in the passenger seat? If you can, then def. keep the spare. After what happened to me I wouldn't run with just a patch kit since it wouldn't help in case the sidewall blows (which is what happened to me)

None of mine have spare tires, only a repair kit. My insurance covers a roll-back truck should I need it. Keep you tires in good condition, properly inflated and you won't have many issues.

i keep mine in my AP1 for trips out of the city. When i'm towing race tires, there is no spare on board.

I've been driving fro many years and have had flats and blowouts. I would not want to run without a spare. Maybe take it out if you're on the track, but on a city road or the highway, it's best to be prepared. That's why I went with a passenger foot-well sub. No loss of any trunk space.

more info and possibly pics of said passenger foot-well sub...sounds like a great idea since i would imagine that it would sound better as opposed to being in the trunk

AAA and I'd say yes, however worth is always highly subjective (otherwise either everyone would have AAA or no one would have AAA) so YMMV. It's your call to make and you need to decided based on your own needs/wants/preferences/budget.
