The wheels look the same as the car is NOT dropped. You cannot tell the differenceby looking at the
car as there is so much space between the top of the wheel and the fender.

Rolling was only necessary because the tires are 245/45s.

Here is a before picture. Don't have an after

make sure you guys figure out exactly at which parts you are rubbing before you go and roll the thing. why mess with it if it ain't doing the nasty?

my rears are 9.5" wide fitted with 255 tires, 55+ offset. this is definitely an aggressive setup and my wheels only tuck in (barely) because i am lowered which pretty much forces me to run -2.x camber in the back.

where i was rubbing was in the rear section of the wheel. you'll see what i mean by going to www.socal28.com.

rears are easy to do, but the fronts are definitely trickier.

Back from the dead...

Well, essentially those with aggressive offsets or wider tires roll their fenders...and those who have wider wheels usually run wider tires.

For example, a lot of people are running 17 x9 Enkei RPF1s with +45 offset and 255/40/17 tires. They would definitely need to roll their fenders or have a substantial degree of negative camber if they are lowered.

Then again, there are a lot of people who don't rub at all with wider tires...rubbing becomes an issue on the rear fenders depending on a lot of variables (camber, tire width, wheel offset, suspension travel, etc)
