Roof Lining
Anyone seen the interior roof lining available from MG Racing. Looks like it would put a nice finishing touch on the inside when the top is up. Probably help on lowering dbs on long trips too.

I've had mine since the beginning of the year and I really like it. It does clean up the look on the inside. It has held up really well too.
It quiets the cabin from "some" exterior noises but seems to hold in other interior noises like the clutch, tranny and other noises you already hear.
It also serves to insulate the cabin from the outside temps. That has been very useful during our 90-100 degree summer.
It's a bit steep, but I think it's worth it.

I have one, too, and would agree with everything previously said. No, you don't have to remove, it folds nicely away with the roof, as if it wasn't there.
The only things I would caution are:
1) If you take it out, don't put it back in as it will have stretched and will droop down. The instructions are clear on this. I had to remove mine to repair a roof problem and it droops now that I've put it back in. Not terribly, but enough so you notice.
2) When you stick the velco strips on the top of the header bar, push as far to the front of the header bar as you can. Over time and in the Texas heat, they will slide backward from the tension of the cloth, and so farther forward would be good. They're not falling off, but they're peeking out from above the bar.
Overall, I'd rate the liner a big plus - quieter car to ride in on the rare occasions that I do have the top up, and cooler as well. By the way I am 6' 3"" and it does not hurt my headroom.
