Default RPM Question

Is it normal when you drive 80mph on 6th gear at 4-5rpm?

Yup, sounds about right. According to the gear calculator, 80MPH in an AP1 should be at around 4.3k RPM

Gear Calculator

EDIT: haha, I just read your post a little closer. I assume you mean 4-5 k rpm

I don't trust that site man. I redlined and only hit 37mph in 1st, 59mph in 2nd, and 77 in 3rd.

What's wrong with that? The site says you should hit 36.9mph in 1st, 56.5mph in 2nd, and 78mph in 3rd. Sounds pretty close to me

It's even more accurate if you uncheck the tire deformation estimator.

Maybe he's having the same problem I have. It works correctly the first time I load the page, but after that (even when I change the vehicle using the drop down) it keeps using the same numbers and giving the same results. So, if you choose the AP1 first and then switch to the AP2, it still gives you the AP2 gearing results.

Not sure what's up with that.

You're totally right. I noticed the same thing last night after I posted my response to rocrfella, but then s2ki.com stopped working and I couldn't post a follow-up

It seems that the "reset" button doesn't work either Oh well, I guess you have to close the window and reopen it every time you want to change vehicles
