Default RSX seats to fit into S2000?

Hello.

This might have been asked already and if so, I apologize.

But I'm curious if anyone has swapped over RSX seats into the S2000 yet? I like the S's seats very much, but looking at the RSX's seats, I kinda miss having harness slots and I might have a chance this Spring to swap out my red ones for a pair of black RSX seats.

I doubt it but do any of the seat rail holes of the RSX mount up with those of the S2000? Would it be worth my while to consider this or too much of a hassle instead of buying aftermarket Recaro seats? (yes I know, they're both made from Recaro)

Thanks again for all your help.

RSX seats don't have that little thing to hold the seatbelt cuz they have a backseat. Not sure if that's what you were referring to in "harness slots" but something to consider...

If you want black leather, there's a pair in my car with your name on it.

I think he meant slots in the seatback for 4+ point race belts by harnesses. The RSX seats apparently allow for these.

Coming from an RSX to an S2000 - please don't do the swap, its not worth it.

The RSX leather was pretty shitty quality. I don't really see what they have to offer than the S2000 doesn't. Not to mention the S2000 seats seem to be more comfortable (personal opinion of course.

Thanks to everyone that has helped me. A friend of mine has an RSX so I'll probably try to see how they fit later on in April after the snow is done. Lots of good opinions and advice as always.

The seatbelt loop would be another obstacle to get around but thats why I would rather use harnesses to hold my big butt in rather than seatbelts.

I guess I should just wait until next season to see for myself. Still though, if this can't be done, then I know I'll definitely be changing out for the black seats to tone down some of the red inside.

Thanks for the help, I'll be around again.
