rubbing on the rears!
hey guys, i have a really bad thing going on. i'm running a WORK emotion CR 17x9 +44 with 255 40 17 tires on the rear and 17x8 +47 with 225 40 17 on the front. and i got the tein flex coilover with the stiffest set up. i am happy with the front but the rear. they rub every single bumps even i slow down. i know people roll their fenders. but i talked to the body shop and they said the offset or the size of the rear rims are just wrong, not the tires. because they stands out of the fenders, so no matter what they work on the fenders, they still rub. they recommend i buy a inner rims so i can get clearance and i can just keep my 255 tires.
so i wonder if WORK has any better fitment CR for s2000? any detail for the sizes and offsets? because i have seen lots of s2k with nice fitment CR on.
is the +44 would be inner towards the car than the +28 for example?
im just really sad with this situation that i have now. hope u guys can help me out.

hope photos help a bit. thanks for all u guys answering

first of all thats a pretty aggressive offset.
youre not lowered too much so solving the rubbing should be easy. camber in your rear wheels about 2.5 - 3 degrees and rolling the fenders will help too. you will notice increased wear but not too much more. just make sure the toe is corrected.
nice car btw.

Roll the fenders, and problem solved. You shouldn't need to pull them, just rolling the lip up should take care of it. If you camber the wheels in more stay on top of your tire pressure, 40-44 psi so you don't get uneven wear.

i know rolling fenders will helps but i just worry about if the paint will comes off or get damaged after rolling it. anyone have pics of the rolled fenders taken from the low view point to the high? i just dont want to pay more couple hundred to repair the paint.
How do you roll the fenders? I've checked them in the front and rear, and they seem pretty rolled already...
Looks like there isn't much room~
I really like the offset setup on your rear's btw. +44?
