Alignment helps but if you have to run alot of toe to make up for oversteer you're going to be replacing rear tires every 2 to 4 months..

Check the tread widths on the sotck bridgestone so2's(ap1) and re050's(ap2) and you'll find that the stock the stagger is 205/245 in both ap1 and ap2. The 215 re050 is the thinnest 215 known to man. The 245 re050 puts down 9.0 inches of tread. I seriously doubt the rt615 235 puts down 9.0 inches because my 255 puts down 9.4 inches. I guess if you run a 205 on the front you can maintain factory stagger but you'll have more understeer than a dodge caravan in the hairpins or quick U-turns. Kinda silly when you spent almost 2 grand on wheels to make the car look nd handle better. Fender rolling and 255 ftw!
BTW, at highway speed you can swerve on throttle (with weight on the rear tires) and still have the same outcome. Alignment helps but if you have to run alot of toe to make up for oversteer you're going to be replacing rear tires every 2 to 4 months..

I would recommend that the OP runs 255s but he will need to run a fair amount of negative camber.
Regarding your statement about the rear toe, that is exactly what I do!

In other words you're not saving any $$ by not simply getting rims that fit.
