I believe they used to be made by a forum member - they're speaker enclosures custom made for the s2k that integrate seamlessly into the roll hoop voids. They really look slick - I was thinking about picking some up too if they're still around.

Good luck with that. I haven't heard about those in years.
Personally, I was never a fan of filling up the rollbar hoops.

S-Pods are speaker mounts that fit in the roll bars behind each seat. I thought they were located at www.streetsmarttechnologies.net but I just tried to go there and got an error so either I have forgotten the address or they are no longer there. It seems like I just visited the site (or some site) perhaps a month ago and it looked like they were still selling s-pods for s-2000 and Miata but they were only seling them in black unless the purchaser was willing to supply their own leather.

I tried that website also and got an error message as well. Thinking they must have gone out or something. Was hoping someone may know of another supplier.

I bought the knock offs on ebay, and for the 60 bucks I paid for them I'm quite pleased. I dont think the item is still available, but check every now and then for them. Maybe you'll get lucky

Go custom?

Inside is Polk Audio 5.25" speakers. It helps a whole lot when driving top down.
