steve c, since you mentioned me by name, I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to S2Ki. I by no means am an administrator, just a regular guy here...not even a moderator anymore...(as of tomorrow).

I sincerely hope that you enjoy your time on this site. I have seen you around here before, but never took the opportunity to say hello.

I wish you well and I hope you enjoy your S2000 and whatever other cars you have in your stable...

Cheers...

My bad. The "S" either stands for "sciomancy", "strumpetocracy", or "selenocentric."

Great job!

May I add that once you drive this car you'll find every excuse NOT to get out of it!

"1. v.,n. [From the Usenet group alt.folklore.urban] To utter a posting on Usenet designed to attract predictable responses or flames; or, the post itself. Derives from the phrase "trolling for newbies" which in turn comes from mainstream "trolling", a style of fishing in which one trails bait through a likely spot hoping for a bite. The well-constructed troll is a post that induces lots of newbies and flamers to make themselves look even more clueless than they already do, while subtly conveying to the more savvy and experienced that it is in fact a deliberate troll. If you don't fall for the joke, you get to be in on it. See also YHBT. 2. n. An individual who chronically trolls in sense 1; regularly posts specious arguments, flames or personal attacks to a newsgroup, discussion list, or in email for no other purpose than to annoy someone or disrupt a discussion. Trolls are recognizable by the fact that they have no real interest in learning about the topic at hand - they simply want to utter flame bait. Like the ugly creatures they are named after, they exhibit no redeeming characteristics, and as such, they are recognized as a lower form of life on the net, as in, "Oh, ignore him, he's just a troll." Compare kook. "

Bieg Great posting!
My girl and I just bought a red S2000 and we can't put it down! Looking for any events in the NH area. I work at a Honda dealership and got a little discount on the purchase.

We've got sections on this board for A/V content, FAQs, etc. -- I wonder if many would like to see a compendium of automotive reviews, etc. here.

Perhaps this would be too time-consuming to have to get permission from each and every publisher, or maybe we have enough lawyers here that could construct a sound intellectual-property disclaimer to display with each and every quoted article.

Its one thing to post links, but these are transient at best. Its another to transcribe text, and perhaps even pictures. The ultimate would be to take the state of an existing online article, pictures and all, and freeze it into an Adobe™ PDF, or for print articles, scan at a readable resolution and convert to JPG...

Thoughts?
