S1000 ?
Read a new article in Road and Track about the new S2000 coming out. Except its not an S2000 its an S1000. I for one am completely opposed to this. It said it will only have 2 cylinders and will run at 120 hp. Personally i think Honda is going backwards. Instead of adding 2, theyre taking away 2. Plus the design looks kinda like a miata. I couldnt really tell from the picture, it was kinda small, but i kinda saw a miata. The only good thing about it is i think it said it shed about 900 pounds. Now if only they could figure out how to do that with the S2000.
Any opinions here?

First off, there are several threads on this already. Second, you need to reread the article. It is an addition to the market, not a replacement for the S2000. It will probably not be marketed in the U.S. and it is for a different price structure. It is supposed to be priced below $20,000 and aimed at a compact sports car lineup.
Also it is NOT a 2 cylinder, It will be a 1.0-liter inline 4 cylinder with 120hp weighing in at about 2000 lb.
