Default S2000 = mini viper

I've had three people now comment on how my S looks like a "Mini Dodge viper", and that they mistook it for one from far away lol, has anyone heard this one before? It was new to me at the time. Mine's red with the black seibon hood.... I guess with the long hood, if your vision isn't that great it might look like one coming at you.

I'm not insulted, I happen to love Vipers, just find it funny.... I guess front a front view it somewhat resembles it.

I used to think the same, until I was behind a Viper one night coming home from work and I realized I was just driving a Honda Even when our cars are FI and they could smoke a 1st gen Viper, they're still looked at as Honda's by people driving $80,000 cars.

Some people never even heard of S2000, so I can see it. I wouldn't expect your typical Accord/Camry owner to know the difference.

When I first got my S a few of my friends thought it looked kind of like a mini viper, but they have never been around any vipers before.

The biggest difference between the two cars is the width. The S2000 is actually a pretty wide car, but look at a Viper in person and you'll think differently

S = Sidewinder, the Viper's little brother.

with the hardtop from certain angles you can definitely see it.

the worse is when people thinks its a miata.
passed a woman in a old miata (we were both top down) and she honked and waived... im like ,,,, cmon lady at least be able to recognize what kind of car you drive before you wave

There is a thread on here by member that owns a viper and an S2k...Both yellow. He took pics of both cars from different angles while they were parked next to each other to compare the similarities and differences. Maybe someone will find that thread and put a shortcut on here?!!...(I'm not very computer inclined and pretty lazy).
