might want to look in the group buy and for sale section of this site. you probably will not be able to find one in so. cal, but you can import it from another state, which is what I, and others have done to receive an s2000 at a desired price.

Valley Motor Honda in Sheridan, Wyoming has sold a yellow/black to a southern CA customer. The customer had it flat-bedded to to the L.A. area unprepped.
They sold another to a Minnesota customer in November, 1999, so "out of state" sales are not new to them.
This dealership has sold their four S2000s at MSRP and might go less with the market softening a little. Maybe not. I paid MSRP and had no forced options.
They have a white/red arriving in a couple weeks and it is not currently spoken for. They are one great dealership. I've bought five cars, a motorcycle and a lawnmower from them.
If you are interested, private mail me, or call Myrna Arndold at 307-672-3492 or Dick Weber (the owner) at the same number.
I have the only S2000 in town, and I would not mind keeping it that way...

It is NOT a riding mower, either.
