Default s2000 07 need ignition key

Bought a 2007 s2000 a the owner lost a set of keys Is there some where I can go to get a uncut key and the chip beside the dealer who wants $245 with programing and cutting

There is a generic looking Honda key that works and costs less than $100. I'm not sure of the details I just remember reading about it after I found out the S2000 key was over $200.

Here’s a key blank My link I bought one a while ago for under 100$ Cant remember right now. lol

My dealer only charges 60bux to cut and program.

Edit: Main key is more expensive than the regular looking spare key.

Your dealer is raking you over!

Went to my local dealer, he charged me about $30.00 for generic black Honda key, then cut and programed it for free.

My Honda dealer wanted $310 to cut and programm a key for me here in the Tampabay area.

Thanks for the tip Honda parts unlimited ordered the main key and I should have it Friday. The key was $109 and I found a lock smith that will be about $40 to laser cut and program.
