Let me start off by saying what a great car S2K is.
I always wanted S2K when it came out in 2000 but ended up with Z3 instead. Then it was traded up for my wife '03 330i sport package. I loved the 330i so much I traded my '02 Blaze Yellow WRX for '03 330i Performance Package. While 2.5RS and WRX surved their purpose for less than a year each, I still wish I was driving S2K all those time.

Then came last week. All of the sudden there is an '02 S2000 with 23k miles sleeping in our garage next to my wife 330i.

I put on couple hundred miles since we got it. All I have to say is this car rocks. The suspension is much stiffer than my 330i and the turn in is really sharp. But at high speed it was kind of scary, I still trust my 330i more on higher speed manuver. Maybe I need to get comfortable with the car. However, the comparison is not truly accurate because my 330i comes with 225 front and 255 rear on 18" while the S2K is riding on stock 205/225-16" S-02.

In term of speed, I think both are pretty much equal. My 330i listed at 235HP but it was faster than my buddy 97 M3 at Willow Spring. So, I think the HP rating should be close. I will do more comparison as I become more familiar with S2K and put more mileage on my 330i ZHP.
