What's the better car? I will be putting lots of aftermarket parts on. Mabye even trying to turbo. Which One can produce more speed with after market parts? And lastly what car do you think looks better?

 

Did you really think the S2000 forums is the appropriate place for this? I personally think the Miata's will give you more bang for you buck, and wayyyyyy more speed.

 

Both with be expensive to mod/turbo. The hr 350's are actually pretty quick. The early 350z's (pre hr) are pretty slow. Research will give you all the answers you need. I prefer the s2k obviously

 

If your goal is to build a dyno queen with a bazillion horsepower, then I would suggest going with a 350Z. In such a case, the S2000 is a hilariously bad platform to start building from.

Actually, if all you want is speed, buy a late 90s C5 corvette, add a supercharger, then call it a day.

 

I honestly would not even own a 350z even if it were free. I would just sell it. The only Nissan I have ever debated about purchasing is the GTR.

The 350z will give you more displacement to work with if turbocharging.
