I am not a Nissan guy either, but the GTR is a VERY special automobile....

What everyone is trying to tell you is that you don't simply come to an exclusive s2000 forum and ask s2000 vs 350z questions and expect to receive unbiased answers. No offense but it sounds a little like you don't know much about what you are talking about. "adding a bunch of aftermarket parts" "what's going to give me speed" Do a little more reasearch on both and you'll find out what suits your needs better. I dont know much about 350z's other then that Hans angry cousin (the Justin timberland of Japan) drives one. But I'll give you the baseline for s2000s. I'll start off with power. Supercharger will be the most reliable and net you 3-400 horses on average. You'll get more power out of a turbo but you loose reliability, 500hp seems to be the limit to be considered "reliable" with a turbo. Anything above that and you WILL break things. I've seen stock blocks handle 700hp. Now as for looks, the s2000 isnt too wheel fitment friendly, it only seems to like higher offsets 50+. How ever you can get away with a little more aggressive wheel. Im running 18x9.5 +40 with a 255/35. Next, body panels (as you may know them by body kitz) are not cheap for this car. But in my opinion that shouldn't be an issue as its not hard to make a stock body s2000 look clean. Just do your reaserch on both and only you can tell what's right for you. There is no right or wrong here.

Not to mention that the Nissan Zs kinda lost their identity with the modern "Porsche 911" wannabe styling....

Granted, the S2000 borrows from traditional roadster styling, but it is timeless and classic looking car. Kinda like the old Fiat Spiders except our S2000s aren't total pieces of SH#$ and they actually work...

While not sure if OP has trolled us or simply is not quite fashioned to car forum etiquette, the flaming of this poor n00b is a little much ladies and gents. Lopez's post was spot on.
