Default The s2000 is beautiful

Just yesterday I was out and had the s parked with the top down in eyeshot of where I was getting some Chinese food to go. I was admiring my s2000 from afar and I saw people walk by and stare and stare at it. I realized that this web site with alot of kitted and fixed up cars makes me sometimes not like the stockness of my s2000. I'm not a Veilside kind of person, but some more subtle bodykits (like what Dark Crow has for instance) suit my fancy. The thing is though, the s2000 is beautiful as is in it's stock form. It's easy to forget, but things like this make it easy to remember.

It truly is a beautiful thing. For me, it became more apparent when I saw a thread (started today) showing a pic of a Spa yellow almost identical to mine cruising down the highway. Since I haven't seen mine under its cover for almost 5 months, it really occurred to me just how beautiful the S really is. Unlike you however, I think that the purest beauty is in its stock form, however thats my opinion and take it for what its worth.

Yea, when the top is down and the car is clean, it looks as good as any car on the road under $100,000 bucks

i want to personally thank the exterior designer of the s2k, he/she/they did an excellent job for a ~30k car.

Agreed.

It does have a "timeless" design. A classic roadster.

A lot of the newer cars getting that bubble shape, which will actually look older as the years come.

My thoughts exactly. Having one's car in storage for some length of time only makes its appearance even more breathtaking. Still get stares from people as they walk by it. But as I was out two nights ago picking up dinner from Chili's, I passed two other S2000's in as many minutes! I think maybe they flock together at times.

Yup. I had the opportunity to drive behind my S a couple of weeks ago. Bought a beater pickup truck and took a friend to pick it up. I asked what he wanted to drive home and of course he said the S. Anyways, as I was following him in the truck I couldn't help but note how awesome the car looked. I'm not into the body kits myself, but my car was lowered about an inch when I put coilovers on it last month, and I do think it looks better this way. But stock it's still gorgeous. Makes me do this ------>
