The s2000 is beautiful

Classic lines. I think it'll age well. It's an aggressive design coming from Honda. I love the short overhangs, the low hood line, the sloping belt line and the overall elements of the car.
New cars have a geo-mechanical bulbous design. Very trendy at the moment. Won't be so hot as time wears on.

IMO the car's beauty does not come through in photographs and I've seen thousands. But when you see the real deal.... ah, sweet.

My feelings exactly- kinda funny I was thinking the same thing.
When I bought my '01 about a week ago from my Acura dealer (wife crashed my RSX Type-S and this is a hell of a replacement vehicle) the dealer let me keep it for a couple of days on a test drive.
When I brought it back to sign the paperwork, I parked it between an M Roadster (the Z3) and a TT convertible that were also for sale. All three cars had their tops down. About four people stood around the S2000 ogling it for a while, and then walked away, completely ignoring the Audi and the BMW. I think the Z3s are dog ugly, but the Audi is striking to look at, and the interest in the S2k took me by surprise. I definitely look back over my shoulder at the car every time I park it!

Hal-lay-lu-ya and glory be, to the S2000 engineers and designers! Oh, and to us owners, too... for having such great taste and class..

I saw the hottest black M3 yesterday...brand new with wheels, spoiler, black tint, etc. When the person rolled down the window, it was probably one of the most gorgeous women I'd seen in a while. She looked over and said to me "that is one amazing looking car" and then drove away. I'm still in love with her...but it also made me realize how lucky we are to drive such a perfect car. I still can't figure out if she was looking at me or my S.

Agreed -- and it is very easy to mess up the finely designed lines of the car with add-ons. I think you have to be conservative about what you tack on to the body.

I totally agree with the statement that pictures don't do the s justice. I saw the exact s I want last Sat. in person and I just couldn't take my eyes off it. Stunning.
