The "WRS2K MEET" seems to consist primarily of lowered cars with aftermarket wheels, clear corners/sidemarkers, and OEM front spoiler. Ok, and there's a few aftermarket side mirrors, rear spoilers, and side skirts.

Personally, I do love that clean, simple look as well. But it'd be rather homogeneous if all S2000's looked like that. That's just one look, which many would find pretty bland.

Unfortunately, socal's car doesn't look like that anymore. It's been (dare I say it) "parted out."

It's obvious by the pics selected that WRS2K prefers a "classier" appealing S2000, especially
as evidenced by all those included with the much larger wheels. Here is where the valley begins.
I prefer to keep things light, especially since I still have the memory of how much
fun it was to toss the MR2-S around. I prefer cars that look mean, aggressive...not so
tuxedo-esque. I few cars ago, I owned a BMW Z3 2.3 in a dark metallic grey with silver wheels. Kept it
bone stock, not one single mod. It was a gorgeous car and always a pleasure to walk up
to but it's appeal was what I call "conservative" classy, like a SC430 or Maserati convertible.
When I see those cars, I think, "wow, classy car" however when you see a
pimped 3rd gen RX7 or Supra, that evokes a different reaction. It's just two different schools. For example, there isn't much you can
say about the Pagani Zonda that would be called "classy." Afterall, this isn't a Vanden Plas Jaguar.
It's mean, aggressive, etc. I like this kind of styling. A far cry from understatement. Fins,
wing, carbon fiber, D-wheel, etc.
To go further, many Ferrari loyalists are horrified by the Enzo. Jay Leno said
driving one would be like "wearing a bikini downtown."
It just goes to show you, taste has no fiscal distinction. There are Testarossa owners who
cringe at the Enzo. There are probably WRS2K-style threads going on right now with
owners of these vehicles but I doubt they care, as do the owners of S2000's who are
having their fun.
Interesting topic for sure.
