S2000 Blind Spot
Nearly all my friends are 5'10+. Anyone know of any proven growth hormone pills for peeps who are 21? Men are supposed to continue growing until 25, so I still have time.
Funny thing is, fitting comfortably is cool, but I actually pull up my seat about 2 clicks to drive. My friends who've driven my car all go all the way back, but are still comfortable, except for my 6'5 friend. That being said, I want 3 more inches! I don't want penis enlargement pill emails anymore! Give me grown hormone pill emails!

You may need one of those convex shaped add-ons to your mirror, or just put the damn top down!
The convex mirrors are going to be my next purchase.

Been driving for over a year in the S. I'm also 5'7 and I have no problems with the passenger side blindspot.
Are your mirrors showing your own car?

Solution: Do a blind spot check (aka shoulder check)
I never fully trust the mirrors
I never fully trust the mirrors
In this situation one would NOT utilize the side-view mirrors at all.
Astonishing! Out of 9 replies, 8 of which were after the OP politely corrected the first reply in stating the the mirror is not useful in this situation, 6 mentioned something about the side-view mirrors or an over-the-shoulder check.

JackS, your post was completely clear to me!
There are a few roads that I use that 'T' into a main road with a stopsign at angles other than 90 degrees. One in particular is quite extreme at somewhere between 45 and 60 degrees and it poses the exact same situation as you mention when I have the top up. The difference is that none of these roads use a yield sign so stopping and taking my time is no problem.
When there is a stop sign, I generally try to stop such that the car is perpendicular to the main road so that I can see out of both sides as with any other car. The only trouble is that if you are turning left (with your left turn blinker on), and the car behind you thinks that you are turning right because you straightened the car 90 degs to the main road, they may try to pull up on your left side. THAT'S when I just double check my side-view mirror before pulling out.

What complicates your situation is the yield sign. If there are enough other visual obstructions that you can't guage traffic ahead of time, you really need to stop (as you say you do).
I think you've got the right idea to just avoid it if you can.
I hope this helps.

Or you can opt for surgery. I think they break you leg in several places and have all sort of stuff inserted into your leg at different places for you to turn at different times. I read it's extremely painful. Worth the extra 3 inches? You tell me

This 3rd rate road intersects my road at approx. a 60 degree angle with a Yield sign. I'm fairly short at 5'7" and it's impossible for me to not stop and lean way over into the passenger seat to get a glimps of any on comming traffic to the right

I'm going to do what I do now and that is to avoid the road completly. It was only a minor conveniece on certain occasions anyway.
If you can, avoid these to make your life less stressful.
Although I've been in the S for about 6500 miles, there are still a few occasions, where I can't see due to blind spots, but they are becoming fewer and fewer.
