How is he doing that? Is he holding up on the e-brake because I don't think S2000 had enough torque at the lower end to burn out like that. (I may be wrong since I never tried it)

Just one more proof that Euros know how to play with the clutch better!! (I think this was shot in Sweden, from the looks of the licence plate)

If you take a car control course, you too can waste a set of tires in a fun little demonstration of controlled oversteer!

I through down the gauntlet! [red]LEARN TO DRIVE YOUR CAR TO ITS FULLEST!![/red]

It does look like he may have shifted brake bias to the front --- that's what Zanardi used to do in the CART car to do his donuts at the end of the race.

The contest is in Sweden. The driver is "power braking" the car. He has one foot on the gas and the other foot on the brake pedal. I imagine he is in 1st gear with the revs at 8-9000 rpms!!!! I don't think I'll ever do this with my S!

That was posted a while back with another mpeg of another stook doing another burnout. If I remember correctly, it was a burnout contest in Sweden.

The only bad part about this was that my RED STOOK was in the shop for the 1-2 grind fix when I first saw this video. All I kept thinking that this was my mechanic trying to re-create the grind in the dealerships back lot!!!! I swear I felt nauseous after those 2 mpegs.

Burnouts are great to do in these cars. I light my S2k up all the time. 5000 miles and been through 2 sets on the rear already. Just rev it to the red, drop the clutch, and put a little pressure on the break. Not the E break! Just watch out for redlining, it wants to do it easy. And don't try second gear, not enough torque. I've been able to hit 2nd after I get off the break, and still spin until the car catches up with the tires. That looks great, and you are flying by that time and smoke still will roll from the wheel wells. This is my first rear drive car with any power. Having too much fum.
