Default S2000 and Canopy in the trunk

Following a long day t the sun in the last couple of Auto-X i was thinking about getting a 10x10 or a 12x12 canopy to park my S2K.
only thing is that i want to make sure that in its folded size, the canopy will fit in the S2000 trunk.

can someone recommend a canopy or confirm it does fit?

Thanks!

Will something over 4 feet long fit in the trunk/boot? There's a 10'x10' canopy advertised at Walmart that folds to http://9.8" x 8.9" x 51.2".Four feet...-- Chuck<br />

FWIW, the standard golf club driver length is about 45" give or take, and that will fit, but it does take a little manuevering, and a canopy folded would likely be a bit thicker.

My 10x10 canopy went from Northern Virginia to Road Atlanta and back in the passenger seat with no problems. I wrapped the top of the canopy bag in a thick towel to prevent any wear on the seat back.

Ran the seat belt across it to prevent a "launch" in the event of an emergency maneuver.

No problem.

A 48" steel rule will fit in the trunk and probably a 50". Verified a minute ago. Once in there's lots of room (maybe another 6") so something more flexible may fit. I hate large objects in the cockpit.
