Default S2000 Trunk Space: Will a S2000 transmission fit?

Hey guys,

I've had my transmission out before but didn't think to see if it fit in the trunk. My current AP1 transmission is starting to make some noise so I'm driving today to pick up a spare.

Do you think it will fit in the trunk? The trunk is gutted. If not I guess I'll remove the passenger seat and put it there wrapped in blankets.

Thanks!

yep. Sure will since you've taken the liners out. We've done this before actually

Don't even need to have the liners out. I too have moved a tranny in the trunk before. As well as a whole F20C (disassembled) in the passengers side of the car (seat removed).

Was he/she mad that they had to ride in the trunk?

Picking up a new gearbox tomorrow to replace my whining gearbox.

I see someone has mentioned you can fit one in the boot with the liners still in place. Once I remove the spare wheel it should fit, right?
