Smile S2000 Christmas gifts idea

Hello S2000s!
I'm currently in a huge dilemma, and I need great idea gifts for Christmas that range up to 1000$ maximum, but prefer 800$.
My boyfriend owns a "2008 AP2 S2000" , there's no modes, just an intake and car lowered.
I currently wrote down some ideas for the gifts, but l'm not a S2000 expert, and I don't know what will be the BEST XMAS PRESENT
am i able to grab some ideas and inspiration from you guys? please put down the size and brand for the item you listed, cuz once again, I have no background knowledge.

Buying mods for someone is very risky. I myself am VERY picky about not only what type of mod I put on the car but the brand and where I buy it from. Everything on your list I'd be very picky about.
Unless you know those specifics I'd say away from it. Especially if you're spending up to 1k. Perhaps best to give him a gift card for 800 for him to spend how he wishes (lame gift also).
Wrapping yourself into a present was honestly the best one on your list.

I 2nd that. While genuinely appreciative, I secretely cringe when receiving certain types of gifts. They usually aren't what I would prefer, but I feel like I have to use them anyway to not hurt someone's feelings. Anything to do with my car falls right into that category.

So many things boil down to tastes and preferences, that there usually isn't a "this part is the best for everyone" situation. Wrapping yourself and those track tickets are going to be your safest bet.

A reservation for an HPDE (High Performance Driving Event) would be pretty awesome. You would just need to ensure his car, without an aftermarket roll bar, would qualify.

I mean if you've heard him say he would really like to get a certain product for his S, or that he's planning to down the road, then sure, go for it. But otherwise I would agree with the above hesitations.

Radar detector isn't a bad idea though... not really a "mod" and if he had a preference for a different model he could probably return/exchange it easily.

Here is a neat little keychain my gf got me. You could throw it in to the mix for cheap. Mine has my name engraved on the front plate.

I don't think there would be any guessing if he's already hinted on a specific item (i.e. RPF1 17x9 +45, Valentine 1...). I wouldn't do any of the second priorities though b/c those are fairly subjective (brand, style, color, etc...).

Something safe would be some cleaning or detailing products for his car. Maybe a radar detector (get a good one...Valentine or Escort), perhaps even some accessories like floor mats. I would not even think about touching the car. Bad idea.
