I've been DDing mine for 3 years. In fact for three months my car was down and I was dailying my dad's 745li and I actually missed my S for my 100 mile daily commute. Sure the 7 was big, roomy, cushy, and torquey but it was also boring as as shit to drive. I couldn't wait to get back in the S. I was having dreams of driving it (literally).

Been DD'ing for 3 years now. No problems. Almost never put the top down anymore though since it wears a hole so fast.

I hate driving the car with the top up, noisy and no visibility. Top down is another story. If I could only own one car it wouldn't be the S2000, but since I have a few other cars, I love my S.

^Yeah top up really does suck. Extra drown, lots of creaks and clunk noises and feel confined a bit more. Top down FTW

I DD my S nearly 150 miles a day, have been for the last 3 years, with no problems. I love the S, get around 27mpg nearly all HWY to and from work. Im about 6ft and 210lbs, so it's starts to feel a little snug driving it so much, thats the only complaint. But it's worth it.

I just bought mine a month ago and I came from an 08 Si Coupe. I am a single guy who only needs room for the girlfriend when there is one. The ride is about the same as all of the Civic's I have had due to suspension upgrades. I like to feel the road and not like I am floatin on a cloud. As for room all I ever need is a backpack with some clothes in it if I am making the 100 mile trip to see my dad. I drive about 12 miles to work each day and it's highway. The ocassional grocery store trip, well there's plenty of room for a whole kitchen full of food. I can't see any reason why this would not be a good DD. Just keep up on maintenance, people drive even smaller vehicles than ours as DD's, smart car anyone???

Been DD'ing mines now for 2 years and i love it 99% of the time. Every now and again though the creaks/cabin drone get to me, but the fun i get from the car on a daily basis counters that and then some.

I'd have it no other way, DD mine for life. I'll always own at least one S2000 and I'll always drive it as much as humanly possible. I enjoy it a freakish amount, NOTHING beats getting my superiority complex on when I sit down and put the top down. Just driving around thinking to myself - "I am so much better than all of you" as I drive past people that aren't in an S2000. Haha. The car wont last forever and neither will you so enjoy it as much as you can while you can. Period.

so keep the top down and you will not have wear issues.

I have 2 toys for DD duties, a motorcycle and my S, I randomly switch back and forth but the S gets driven more in the rain than the bike.

The S is also my wife's and I long distance car, top down always.
