S2000 Dealers in Europe.
I am one of the unfortunate people who lives in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and as such I have to pay topdollar for everything - including cars. So OI wouldlike to redress the balance and buy a new S2000 from Europe.I will pay around
If it makes U feel any better, I just paid 35000 pounds for my Greek S2000! (Thanx very much to the Greek Goverment)!!! I think the best deal for you is to import one from Germany. Thus you would only have to pay for road tax, the licence plates change (I think it is about 150 quid) and ofcourse insurance.

While in The Hague in the Netherlands I stopped at a Honda dealer in Scheveningen (part of The Hague.) He had a brand new blue S2000 in his showroom with rhd. He told me it was for UK customers.
A while ago I looked into buying an MGF for import into the U.S.A. I found a company in the Netherlands who specialize in selling into foreign markets. Unfortunately I have forgotten the name of the company, but you should be able to find something similar by checking the car mags. (or do an internet search for "Dutch Car Brokers".) I understand it's a big market now in the U.K., with many people buying abroad to avoid the huge mark-ups in the U.K. I don't think RHD is a problem any more, and you may be able to get any color make for RHD cars worldwide. I understand they will also finance the car for you, which includes all taxes, import charges, and shipping (if applicable).
BTW. I remember seeng a T.V. program on car prices in the U.K. When asked why the big difference for the same car between the U.K. and other countries, a spokesman for Ford Motors said that all the big manufacturers price cars to the maximum that they know they will get for those cars, before people reach the stage of refusing to buy those cars because they are overpriced. The guy admitted it has absolutely nothing at all to do with the manufacturing cost of the car. It is a tactic that would never work in other Euro countries, and only works in the U.K. because the British are conditioned (and resigned) to paying more than their European counterparts for similar items.
Good luck! Hope you get a great deal. Let everyone here know if you do.
