I know for a fact that JDM headlight housing are clear.(No amber color for turn signal. In America, the clutch fluid resevoir and mastercylinder are on the left if looking under hood because of right seat drive, same in Europe I guess. U.S. and canada have left seat drive, so under the hood will be different. Japan doesn't have emissions so thats why they can run more power, nothing to restrict the exhaust flow I guess. America has very strict rules, and by the way I believe the ones in the U.S. are LEV's(low emission vehicles).

I used to have a US car and now I have a Middle East Spec where the engine is EU.
The differences I remember are:

US cars have a cruise control, rear bumper has a smaller "number plate space", no head lamo washer, better quality interiour leather and plastic

Midlle east car are FASTER:O))) but no cruise control

Mine is a German MY00 (Reg'd Oct 99) and it has

Headlight washers - ugly things - spray the interior when top is down - but practical in winter (remove that fuse during roof-down season)
Clear headlights - bulb is amber, not lens.
Like Canadian models - larger windshield washer reservoir (part because of headlight washer I would assume)
Contrary to belief: Windshield Tape - Black
Titanium shift knob (Could have been added, but I believe it to be original)
No cruise control
Keyless entry system is different - bougt US spec OEM alarm and had to make a local mod to get it to fit and work - main wire harness is thus different.
No seat belt light
There is no external mph/km button - may be internal to the cluster, cause the mph text is visible with the instrument lights on.
Rear fog light
Euro engine - with all that that means.

any more?

US, CAN & JDM have 2 reverse (backup) lights...while the EU & UK models have 1 reverse and 1 fog light

(The lower foglight has been moved into the rear cluster on one side only)
For the fog light, can we get the kit from EU or UK dealer? Any pics how the front foglight looks like?

EUR JAP Right hand drive. US Left hand drive.

Or is that too obvious. Yes I know, just joking. Does the US on have a dent in the back from all the time we loss the back end on the foggy and slippery roads?
