I post on a topic i hear and all i get is flamed..... i thought these forums are for discussion... ?
Don't worry about it. It's happened to you, it's happened to others, and it will probably happen to me. There's an unwritten rule that you have to read the posts on this forum like you are studying for the MCAT. If there's even a hint that a topic you start has been posted before, then get prepared for a flame gangbang. It kinda sucks, but I do have to admit that I sometimes look forward to some of the stuff people come up with for flaming.

The S2k discontinue rumors have been discussed on this board a billion times. The same is true for RSX discontinue rumors on ClubRSX. Although I think the Celica enthusiasts were caught with their pants down.

I'll say this up front -- this is bald, unsupported speculation and entirely without any factual basis whatsoever, but my hunch is that whatever Honda does, and whenever Honda does it, when the S2000 is replaced it will be with a two-seater sold in the US as an Acura.

The s2000 really does not fit into the current US marketing scheme for Honda, and just think how many more cars would be sold in the US if it also appealed to the snobby folks who are buying a BWM Z4s because they would simply never be seen in a Honda.

e.g., Euro Accord = Acura TSX in US, Honda NSX = Acura NSX in US.
As long as they make a worthy successor to the S2000 I'm more than happy...

Hell I want them to cancel the S and make some kick ass 2 seater convertible again with the power of the old NSX and keep it as track oriented if not more than the pre-04 S2000s...

Oh and if it's an acura, we can just get honda emblems and rebadge it

Wow it's been discontinued 5 years in a row.. !! That has to be some kind of record, only Michael Jordan retires that often.
