S2000 to be discontinued
It's finally official - the April 2006 issue of Road & Track has confirmed that the S2 is to be discontinued and has identified it's replacement, as well as that for the NSX.
R & T assures us in no uncertain terms (page59) that "The internal name given to the S2000's replacement is XGA". They expect it to be front engine, all wheel drive, etc., etc. There you have it. Controversy over. If you can't believe R & T, who can you believe?

The S2000 has been "canceled" about 100 times already. Until it actually comes out of Honda's mouth, I won't believe it. The XGA really can't be a true replacement since its a totally different type of car.
