1) Dont go for Vtech (6000rpm ) until at least 3 bars on the temperature gauge.
2) Do work out those thigh muscles so that you can get in and out of the car without scratching the sill.
3) Do remember that its only a car, your ego can end up making the car own you as opposed to the other way round.
4) Do get another car if get worried that somebody is going to scratch it especially a the shopping mall.....I kept my Jeep for the day to day running around.
6) Do drive it like its the last day of you life.......youll definetlyget to go to heaven..
ENJOY IT!!!!!!

Don't try to lift the car by hand using the wheelwells in order to get a jack under the car, you'll get this dent. Use a low height jack instead. (not my car)

Watch out when you park. The front end is low to the ground and you can be closer to the edge than you think.

Don't shift from 5th to 2nd by mistake (easy to do) if you're going over 58mph. You'll be picking up pieces of engine

Don't go to an automated car wash, or any car wash that uses high pressure water. In fact, don't go to any car wash at all. Read the "wash & wax" forum and wash it yourself.

Ditto on the "watch the front end when you park". It's further out there than you think, and it's pretty low.

Be carefull if you shift during a turn - give it too much gas and the rear end will kick out.

1) Dont hold any objects that can scratch the paint when you are opening the doors.
2) Dont lean on the car when filling up for fuel in case the metal studs on your jeans scratches the car
3) Dont put the top down when u know you are going to dusty areas - the inside of the convertible is a b*tch to clean
4) For right hand drive cars - if u wear a metal watch on your left hand take it off as resting it on the center will scratch the paint off the console
5) Drive much much carefully in the wet!
6) Dont rest your knee or heavy/sharp objects on the leather seats or else it will leave a scratch/dent/wrinkle etc
7) Do adjust your mirrors for blind spots and move your head left and right for other angles

Don't shift quickly from 1st to 2nd before the fluids are warmed up, to avoid the 1-2 grind....shift slowly and let the (cold) synchros do their job.....
