Its odd looking at those numbers that Honda is killing the Insight after 06 and still keeping the S around...hmm.

 

Here is my theory on why rumors of discontinuing the S 2000 keep sufracing. Back in late '99 when the S 2000 first was first available, one of my car mags (Road and Track or Car and Driver) reported on the S 2000 and said it was to be built for a limited production, two year run ONLY. That has clearly proved to be wrong, but rumors die hard.

Too bad Honda isn't making enough Insights. I rarely see them at my dealership.

 

according to http://www.autoblog.com/2006/05/18/honda-k...-of-new-hybrid/ the insight (the most fuel efficient production car) is getting killed off. The new Honda Fit Hybrid should offer much better value though.
