Can someone help and send me a photo of how the retaining bolts look on the drivers side, my carpet was removed and the garage is suggesting both bolts are above the carpet, whereas I remember only one, I think one went through the floor carpet

hope someone helps, I have asked them to look for a hole in the carpet, but I am being to doubt if my memory is correct.

I have 01 AP1 and mine actually has a square slit cut through the carpet. And I only have one anchor, so i'm not sure if that helps you any.

 

thanks for the reply, I am starting to think my memory is wrong, I have two bolts and have two square holes cut in the carpet perhaps they just came through them.

That sounds about right. The squares were cut like that from the factory as far as I know.

 

I always wondered why both of my s2000s were cut like that. Thought it was a common mod or something..
