Default S2000 ebay funnies

I thought everyone knew that ebay is just about the worst place to try and sell a car (except for something in the prime if it is super hot... like 3 years ago with the S2000).

Anyway.... this thing won't go past $28k (my swammy told me)

The guy from Philly with his turbo S2000 didn't get anything close to his $40k asking price....(i think he ended in the 20's as well).

Just funny that people waste their own time and $ (I think ebay charges $50 to list a car) to get no where. I see the supercharged yellow S2000 with the hardtop is back on ebay..... Phantom bidders are everywhere on ebay... they bid without ever calling their bank first...

that's like this guy who was offering me a 91 NSX with 75,000kms on it for $90,000 CDN !! just because it had a supercharger boosting it to 400bhp.. I told him and the dealer, I don't think you'd find someone that stupid..

Surprisingly eBayMotors ended up being the #1 used car site on the net. Just FYI.

#1 being what? I am certain there are gazillions more cars listed on www.autotrader.com at any given point than on ebay. Right now there are 500+ S2000's on autotrader, but only 20 or so on ebay.

maybe #1 meant easiest to use?

If you look at the "sold" ratio it is pretty slim on ebay. Most cars do not meet their reserve.......if the reserve is low enough they do....ebay is like the last shot before you pay your cousin to steal it for the insurance.
